Cancellation & Weather Policy
Boats depend on weather, so this needs to be simple and in writing. It is.
If you cancel — more than 48 hours before
Free. Full refund, or a new date at no charge, whichever you prefer.
If you cancel — inside 48 hours
50% of the total is charged; the remainder is refunded. If we can resell the date, we refund you in full.
If you do not arrive
No refund if you do not appear at the departure point without notice. Tell us — even late — and we will do what we can.
If we cancel for weather
You choose: a new date at no extra cost, or a full refund. We never keep money for a trip we could not run.
Who decides, and when
The skipper does, based on the official forecast and sea state, normally the evening before and at the latest two hours before departure. His decision is final and is about safety, not convenience.
Marginal conditions
Often the sea is fine on one side of the islands and not the other. In that case we do not cancel — we change the route to sheltered water and tell you before departure.
Rain
Rain alone is not a reason to cancel. Wind and swell are. A grey day on the Adriatic is frequently a very good day on the water.
Trips cut short
If we have to return early for weather or a mechanical problem, you are refunded pro rata for the time not sailed.
